Mykonos
Day 5: Ferry, Paradise Beach, Mykonos Town
See the Greek Islands: Ferry Guide for specific tips.
Morning
Activities | Tips |
Ferry: Paros to Mykonos | Duration: 2 hrs 45 min |
Afternoon
Activities | Tips |
Arrive at Mykonos Port. Drive to Hotel. | Mykonos Port sits just north of Mykonos Old Port. Ferries only go to Mykonos Port. Arrange a driver ahead of time with your hotel to fetch you from the port (or airport) and drive you to the hotel. This ensures safety, a fair price (set by hotel vs. the driver) and allows you to pay with a credit card vs. cash only. |
Check in to Hotel. | See the TRIP 2 Hotel Review. |
Scooter Rental - At or close to your hotel (so you can pick up and drop off without interfering with your arrival or departure logistics). | It's necessary to rent a vehicle during your stay on this island (taxis, Ubers, and Lyfts are in high demand with long wait times and minimum prices of €30+) Scooter (250cc+) Pros/Cons - P: Scooters (not ATVs) can pass constant car traffic and are easier to park. Reach all main areas. Cheapest. - C: Limit 2 Riders. If you rent a Scooter: - Special license not enforced; show passport and reassure them that you're comfortable driving one. Return with a full tank of gas. |
Workout | |
Beach: Paradise (map) | Tropicana Hotel also owns Tropicana Beach Bar, which is open to anyone. DJ's play music during the day and it turns into a full party at night. We only went during the day and sat on the beach. No RSVP required. |
Evening
Activities | Tips |
Mykonos Town - Wander through the windy streets - Explore the different shops, restaurants, and galleries. The village is beautiful, and we loved all the shops! | Specific spots to walk through: - Little Venice (map) - Windmills (map) These are a 2-minute walk from each other. Dinner: COYA - 5/10: okay Peruvian food, €€€€ - Not lively, even when "party" begins at 10:00 PM. - Reserve 3 weeks prior (for 9:00PM+). Dessert: Dr. Loukoumaa (map) - Loukoumades are Greek donuts that come served with a variety of toppings you can select from. - Ordered with Nutella and went back twice! These are delicious. |
Day 6: Pool, Nammos World, Interni
Morning
Activities | Tips |
Workout | The hotel has two levels. The gym, 2 of 4 pool, spa, and restaurant are on the upper level. Pack bathing suits and a change of clothes to wear to the pool and restaurant. |
Breakfast: Hotel | Great selection of cakes, omelets, and various cheeses. |
Pool | Secure sunbeds (as nice as Zuma Mykonos Sunbeds) at the pool before 11:00 AM, simply by placing down a few belongings (then going to workout and/or eat). |
Afternoon
Activities | Tips |
NAMMOS World - Beach Club - Restaurant - Village | Beach Club - Arrive ~11:00 AM to secure chairs and an umbrella in a good row (on Psarou Beach). No RSVP allowed beforehand. Restaurant - Reserve as soon as you plan the trip. Email them instead of using the form on their website, so they respond/confirm. - Party lasts ~3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Live DJ, everyone dances around their tables. Make friends with those around you. - Get cocktails, rose, and lunch! Every item on the menu is delicious. - This place is the best; could go multiple days. Village - Have drinks first and you'll have a BLAST! Then, be shocked when you look at your credit card statement the next day. - Several luxury stores: Chanel, Loro Piana, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc. Treat yourself! |
Evening

Dinner: Appagio - Inside seating elevated, lined with large open windows for an unobstructed view of the sea. - Outdoor seating has romantic fairy lights twinkling overhead. | Outdoor: Reserve up to 1-2 weeks prior.
